- Profile Data: When creating an account, we collect (Full Name, Email, Phone Number, and Profile Picture).
- Geolocation Data (Optional): If you wish to register as a seller, we request access to your location (Lat/Lng) to pin the store on the map to help users reach you.
- Images and Media: We request permission to access the gallery or camera to upload store images (up to 3 images) or update the profile picture.
- Device Data: We collect technical information such as (App Version, Device Type, and Internet Connection Status) to ensure app stability and provide mandatory updates.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information for the following purposes:
- Authentication and Security: To verify user identity and prevent banned accounts via the check-ban-status system.
- Providing Commercial Services: To display stores, products, and offers, and connect sellers with buyers.
- Notification System: To send alerts for breaking news, order updates, or administrative announcements based on your preferences in "Notification Settings".
- Improving User Experience: By remembering "Dark Mode" preferences and the selected language (AR/EN).
3. Sharing Data with Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared with technical service providers to ensure the app functions:
- Supabase: As the infrastructure for data storage and database.
- Google: If you choose "Log in with Google".
- Notification Services: To deliver alerts to your devices via dedicated Android channels.
4. Data Storage and Protection
- All data and files (such as store and profile pictures) are stored in secure Storage Buckets.
- We apply RLS (Row Level Security) to ensure no user can access another user's data without authorization.
- Communication between the app and servers is encrypted using advanced security protocols.
5. User Rights (Data Control)
Under our policies, you have the right to:
- Modify Data: You can update your personal data from the "Account Settings" page.
- Privacy Control: You can enable or disable notifications of all types or geolocation access from the app or device settings.
- Delete Account: We provide an option for users to request the permanent deletion of their data from the database.
- Guest Mode: The app allows browsing as a "Guest" without needing to provide personal data, with limited privileges.
6. Children's Privacy Protection
The North Mazar app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data, and if discovered, it is deleted immediately.
7. Compliance with Google and Meta Policies
- Transparency: We clearly state the reason for requesting each permission (such as POST_NOTIFICATIONS or Camera).
- Deep Links: We use secure links com.almazar.app:// for password recovery and account confirmation processes to ensure data is not intercepted.
- Ads and Promotion: All promotional requests are subject to administrative review to ensure they are suitable for the community.
